Narrative Change

Mi Oaxaca's Narrative Change Program addresses Indigenous erasure and cultural appropriation by centering Oaxacan voices and knowledge. Using decolonial community-based research, we have completed 17 interviews, 6 focus groups, a community forum, and several ethnographic projects to inform our Cultural Preservation Initiative and strengthen Oaxacan food sovereignty. Findings are forthcoming.
